Did anybody feel bad for Angelica whenever Didi would get mad at her?

reply

Yes!!. I feel so bad when she always says " But it was the Babies" or something like that and Didi would talk to her like she was an idiot. But what do you expect Didi to do, say yes it was the babies who did all of those things. But Angelicas only three ( Three? )

reply

I don't understand why Didi wouldn't believe Angelica when she would tell them it was the babies despite her lying to Didi and I also don't understand why Didi would blame Angelica on all of the bad things that goes on, there were times I thought Didi was a bit too mean towards Angelica, also on "The Trail" episode when Angelica admits that she was the one who broke the lamp where was Didi when Chuckie admitted that he wanted to break the lamp but he'd never had the nerve to do it?

reply

Didi can't understand the babies so all she knows is what Angelica tells her. Angelica was pretty bad though so I didn't feel bad for her.

There was one episode where I thought Didi had no reason to get mad at Angelica on the episode where Angelica and the babies were pretending to be pirates, after all they were just having fun

reply

[deleted]

I think she got mad at Angelica because she was making Tommy walk the plank in a kiddie pool filled with water..

reply

And his hands were tied behind his back!

reply

I think Didi was the only one who could see that Angelica was a brat and deserved to be punished. Charlotte wasn't really much of a parent so I think Didi was more of a mother figure to Angelica too. I think Drew knew Angelica was a brat too but probably didn't want to believe it or did not have the heart to punish her.

reply

I agree! Drew kinda knew she was a brat but he seemed like a soft parent who was hesitant to punish her.

Didi on the other hand, wasn't afraid to give her tough love. If Angelica was Didi's daughter, I bet she would've been well behaved.

reply

Angelica kind of deserved to be yelled at since she drunk Tommy's chocolate milk.

Don't worry be happy

I remember there was one episode where Drew punished Angelica by telling her that she's not gonna have any dessert for a week, I can't remember exactly which episode it was though

[deleted]

No. Drew and Charlotte were too chicken to punish their daughter. If I was stu or didi, I would punish her too..

reply

Yeah I could never understand why Didi got mad at Angelica in the pirates episode. But there were reasons why Angelica deserved to get punished. For one thing, in that one where the babies think Spike could talk when it was really Angelica using a walkie talkie, and "Spike" coerces the babies to bring him the jar of cookies and Angelica eats them all and Stu and Didi see what happened. And she was a real bitch for breaking Tommy's favorite lamp on purpose, and trying to steal Tommy's chocolate milk. That was never a favorite episode of mine and I agree with Didi--the guys were SUPPOSED to be watching the kids not some stupid football game. Off topic here but the parents really needed to keep a closer eye on those kids. If I ever have to watch my baby niece or nephew someday and they're in a playpen I'm still staying close by because who knows if they could escape. lolz. And I can't believe the falling sky episode when she brings the hose into the living room to make a "swimming pool."

But I hated how in the episode where Jonathan babysits, her mother blames Angelica for getting mud all over the house when it was the babies and bans her from dessert for a week. And when they accidentally cause her to ruin Grandpa's giant squash he was growing and Drew doesn't believe her that it was the babies fault. And what about the one with the computer? Those babies practically ruined it by smearing diaper rash cream and banana all over the moniter and knocking the moniter over, and Stu apparently thought Angelica did it at the end. Also the one where they were on the boat and something happens where the babies cause the anchor to be let down and it jolts the boat and Drew ends up falling overboard and he thinks it was Angelica.

She had it coming 90% of the time...probably even more than that

reply

Though this was a funny episode, Drew did punish Angelica the time when Chuckie's clothes shrank in the wash and she tried to get Chuckie to think he was growing into a giant. I still crack up about this, but do you remember how she got some dolls and cut of the faces from photos and glued the photo pieces on to the dolls' faces? Like how she had cut a picture of herself and cut out her face and glued it to Cynthia to make Chuckie think he crushed Angelica.

remember the episode where she saved chucky's life and made him become her slave? at the end they were locked in the closet, and chucky turned the doorknob. she got her comeuppance and had to drive him around in a little car.
"yes sir. no sir. right away sir."

but sometimes i just felt bad for angelica. like that one episode with the handcuffs... "CHUCKY, COME BACK, back, back, back"

Angelica is a brat with a good heart there are alot of touchy moments between her and the babies like remember the episode where she defended the babies from that josh bully because he was too mean? that One of my favorite episodes I just love the way she stood up for them.

What seasons were these episodes from? I don't seem to remember these episodes, I remember the latter episode you've mentioned

reply

Mostly the later seasons . . . the squash one was from "Chuckie Grows," the computer one was from "Dil Saver" and the Jonathan babysitting episode was "Jonathan Babysits."

Feel bad? Nope.

My mom used to say if I got punished unfairly, it just made up for the times I got away with stuff. She was old school.

I liked when Angelica stepped on Coco LaBusche's wedding gown and ripped it (in Rugrats in Paris), and yelled, "No one messes with my dumb babies 'cept me!"

reply

[deleted]

Well, technically it was Angelica's fault because she was trying to take Tommy's chocolate milk, but the guys were really irresponsible for only watching the Football Game on tv instead of the kids.

I never felt bad for Angelica.

Yeah. Angelica's a nice character and Didi getting mad at her just ruins it.:(

I thought Didi was way too harsh with Angelica sometimes. Especially when there was chocolate milk all over the house during the football game and she only blamed Angelica even though it was all of the babies doing it.

reply

I also remember this episode where Fluffy knocks stuff over and Angelica blames Spike for it, and then at the end of the episode, she really thought that fluffy did all this, it was true, but the last one were Spike and Fluffy at the same time.

Not at all. Angelica needed to be punished all those times she was misbehaving and being mean to the babies.

Angleica is my favorite character lol. I always love the villains. However she reminds me of my real life cousin who is devious and a troublemaker and my mom is the one who usually has to put her in her place.

When someone mentioned the fact that she knocked over the lamp, I remember watching that episode and thinking was the most vile thing she did (At the time). For starters, it was totally messed up how at first, she wanted to draw on the wall to place blame on Tommy, and then even went so far as to break Tommy's clown lamp. She thought that she would get away scot-free because the babies couldn't talk, but it was a good thing Didi and Betty were eavesdropping otherwise she would have gotten away with something so sick.

There was one time I remember when she really didn't get hers. Remember the episode when Tommy and Chuckie imagined if they were adults? She basically was the one who put Tommy and Chuckie up to getting Didi's lipstick, just so that she could snitch on them.

There were times I felt sorry for angelica. I got so sick of hearinf didi's mouth all the time. All ya ever hear when she is in trouble is ANGELICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There was one episode where I thought angelica should have gotten in trouble. It was the one where she and her dad stayed at tommy's for the weekend and she opened tommy's window and caused him to have a fever. But I dont think it's fair for her to get blamed for everything.
