Did anybody feel bad for Angelica whenever Didi would get mad at her?

I mean honestly, even if Angelica technically doesn't do the bad thing that the adults find, she's still responsible for the babies because she's older. So it doesn't really matter if she tries to blame the babies.

reply

How is she responsible for the babies? She's only three.

Nope. Angelica deserved every punishment she got.

reply

Why would I ever feel sorry for Angelica? She's mean spirited, and it's perfectly understandable if karma gets to bite her hard.

reply

I always thought it was funny when the babies would defeat her because she would usually look shocked for a few seconds and then let out a delayed cry, plus her cries were always kinda funny sounding.

Whatever punishment she gets adds up for all the times she's gotten away with being bad, even when she didn't do what she was being punished for. She's usually guilty of playing dirty tricks on the babies' minds before she gets busted for something she didn't do, so the punishments are more like cosmic consequences for her bad behavior as a whole. The only episode where she gets a punishment that she didn't deserve at all was Tricycle Thief because she did nothing wrong at all and Susie and the babies went too far with making her suffer.

Yes and No to the Op's question!

Based on Angelica's behavior and spoilness, she needed someone to discipline her and teach her right from wrong. Her parents obviously weren't doing a very good job of that.

Giving a child consequences for their actions is not really mean it's called TOUGH LOVE. Deep down, Didi deeply loved and cared for her but unlike Drew and Charlette, they don't tolerate Angelica's bratty behavior as much.
