After watching this recently, I spent most of the time in serious pain laughing so hard when Duke was on screen. The man’s charisma, wittiness, one liners, sense of humour, arrogance and insane desire to control every interaction he was involved in was really something to behold.
The bit when he says to Rocky he’l make him so much money they can swim in it. Then turns to Adrian and asks “you can swim, can’t you darling?”. 😂😂😂😂
My favorite is when he blurts out "god damn!!"
shareI always found it odd that they gave that character the last name Duke since Tony Burton who played a pivotal character as Apollo's manager/Rocky's trainer and appeared in all 6 Rocky films was named Duke Evers. Since they already had a Duke in the Rocky universe couldn't they have come up with something else?
