Vincent Schiavelli Story: Interesting Take
When Sam Wheat Starts to try to get to know Vincent Schiavellis character, theres a few things I found interesting about the whole sequence.
1.) Vincent says, or claims He was Pushed down, or 'they pushed me'.
Did he mean he was Pushed, as in Literally pushed, off a cliff or did he refer to possibly he was pushed into making a decision in his life that altered him and his situation for the Worst?
Whatever he meant by that, seems to indicate, he committed suicide.
While he does go out of his way to teach Sam how to physically move an object, as there is always some good in everyboody, he was and is obviously a miserable person, and one does not have to be a Christian to know and understand his soul is Burning in Hell. And I say this because his character when he kicks the Cigarrete dispensor, it bursts open and he is so dependent on the Cigarrette, he says hed give anything to have one.
This leads me to believe he was attatched to the Physical World (many of us are in some ways) but his passions were addictions and not for the better.
I leave with 1 last question, and that is did the demons which took both Willie Lopez and Carl, did those demons take him earlier, and his presense in the movie is supposed to indicate a 'Hellish' exsistance or state of mind?
I certainly believe so.
Love to hear your thoughts.
