I recently watched this movie and found it very informative about the Middle East in the early part of the 20th century. Historically it was accurate and mostly dealt with the relationship between Lawrence and Emir Faisal. Interesting.

There's a great book called Lawrence In Arabia that focused not only on his exploits but the activities of other Westerners in the Middle East during WW1.
