When Marty “ripped the fuel line” on the DeLorean, what happens to the rest of the fuel in the tank?

Is there unspecified damage to the fuel tank as well, or has Doc tweaked the DeLorean fuel pump circuit to maintain constant fuel pressure even in the key off position? Rupturing a fuel line in a vehicle that is not running wouldn’t drain the fuel tank.

Why do you bring out the same, tired topics over and over again? The fuel and fuel line + fuel tank stuff has been SO thoroughly discussed already in other threads YEARS ago, it boggles the mind anyone would necro such an old, already thoroughly processed thought as if it's something new.

Well pretend for a moment, that this topic is brand new to me and not "tired". You can't come in and act or presume that we should already this since it has in your personal estimation, been discussed to death. You're pretty much telling me, that I should go back and look through all of the past threads here that may or may not address the manner.

Also, why should it matter to you whether or not this particular topic is "tired"? Why can't you answer the question instead of complain about it being beaten to death? I don't understand why you have to make it sound like I should already know about what I'm asking just because you, yourself has analyzed and examined the likely plotholes up and down.
