shareI found this show on Prime and it is a delight to watch, the fact the Dr is not an idiot and does doctor stuff is great, sad that a show like this is not on being made today is sad
shareSadly you're right. As strong as a cult following this series had, the viewership ratings weren't good enough for the studio/producers/sponsors.
Today, practically every fish-out-of-water story involves crime/murder-mystery or over the top SciFi tropes. Doctors have been relegated back to their general hospitals in major metro areas.
