Who would you like as a Guest Presenter?

Who would you like as a Guest Presenter?
Anyone in the world..

I would like Angus back for a stint and Mark Lamarr....Lamarr would be so cool.
Has paxman ever done it, if not then him too.

Someone who'd never do it… Ricky Gervais.

reply

Not Gervais. Anybody but Gervais. Most overrated person ever.

I don't believe Rob Brydon has ever hosted. I think he'd be great. He's certainly great on Would I Lie To You.

Love? I'm sorry, I thought you said a melon.

reply

I agree, though do you think Rob Brydon's not been asked because he's very strong in that area and a confident comedy all-rounder in general, so the dynamic between presenter and contestants (Paul in particular) would be lost? Hard to explain, but they tend to book relatively placid presenters most of the time. The closest they've got are perhaps Frank Skinner, Lee Mack and Dara O'Briain (pre-Mock The Week though I think), so I'm not sure really, but post-Deayton, they mostly seem to enjoy having presenters who are a bit out of their comfort-zone or normal line of work.

Rik Mayall, Leonard Nimoy or David Tennant. Also Peter Davison and Colin Baker always struck me as having a great sense of humour.
