Does anyone else think this story is racist?

The Austrian depicted as the stereotypical villain. Mutilated at the end and with goons. It seemed less like a detective story and more like crime drama.

Austrian is not a race. You don't seem to know what "racist" means.

Foreigners were often villains in Doyle's and other stories of that time. Yes, it's rather annoying.
