What's Your Funniest Scene?

What's your most funniest scene in this movie? Mine is when he is arguing with a car dealer and in the end gets his way to a sports car and he doesnt even get out as far as the main road and gets hit by another car LOL

Me and my mum were watching it on TV one saturday morning and really laughed at that scene lol, it's a nice memory :)

Two scenes not mentioned yet.

1) When the policewoman says "Get to the point!" Harry says "You first!"

2) When Harry breaks the plane door and walks in, a little old lady says "Who is that?" to which he replies "Crumb. Harry Crumb"

Another 2 scenes not mentioned yet, with Tim :)

1. When they first received the ransom note.
P.J.: Helen should know about this. (to Tim) Tim, do you know where Mrs. Dawning is?
Tim: Uhm, ohh, well, what happens if I do?
Eliot: That's alright, I'll find her.
Tim: Thank you God!

His face and eyes -- hilarious!!!

2. Dinner at the table.
P.J.: Please, these things can be so easily misinterpreted. (to Tim) I think this is a good time for coffee.
Tim: Oh, great! Now I suppose everyone will want some, hm?

Should see that idiotic expression on Tim's face -- priceless! :)))

It has to be the scene where he kills the fish using a big book... It gets me every time.

(In Draisen's office at the beginning)

Man (his name escapes me atm): "Elliot tells me you share my love of languages *Switches to Chinese/Japanese* "Do you prefer Chinese or Japanese?"
Harry: "AHA!"
Man (In Chinese): "Obviously English is also a problem for you"
Harry: "Sure, Sure"

The dumb know it all smile combined with with Harry's lines still shown in subtitles...awesome!

Also I may have completely screwed up the first part of that exchange, I just remember the last part and Harry's look...I still say Sure, Sure like he does every now and then to see if I catch another moviephile like myself.

When John Candy is disguised as the Indian air conditioning repairman and Joe Flaherty is the building manager and Joe says, "Beat it Sabu" and John Candy says, "Perhaps later." That line stands the test of time. Makes me laugh every time.

Flying through the air duct at 100 mph, and then the building manager is waiting for more coins, says "Come on... come on... JACKPOT!" and gets knocked out cold by a flying Crumb flying out the vent.

Had me in tears every time as a kid... :D

When he is in the salon and walks past the women getting their hair done (in the foreign accent) "Too tight...too loose...too...poofy." The guy walking with him asks, "You don't like what you see..?" Crumb replies, "Only I will be the judge of that."

Classic comedy.

The fake jack off scene. It's funny cuz why would a guy jack off right out in the open on a stranger's porch? Also, the paintings of the Crumb father and grandfather were pretty funny.

Not to mention Shawnee Smith's classic response: "Would you mind taking your free hand off the doorbell?" :'D
