I know most people probably don't agree with me

But I didn't think it was that funny. The original was way better in my opinion. The humor seemed to just rely on juvenile slapstick.

And what was supposed to be the message about the Christmas Bonus? That Christmas really is about money? By the way I have never heard of a "Christmas Bonus" sure wish I got one.

Shitter's full.

Yes a few humorous moments but overall a dull and unfunny movie. Everything seemed to fall apart after the cat lady and Uncle Lewis showed up.

I'm right there with ya. Finally watched the whole thing beginning to end not on television for the first time about 5 years ago. I was bewildered.

Honestly I don't really see what the fuss was about. Sure it was better than European and Vegas (which isn't a high bar to clear) but it was nothing compared to the original.

The fact that people are so obsessed with it just confounds me.

A lot of people get Christmas bonuses, or used to, anyway. Maybe in today's economy it's becoming a thing of the past, but it used to be a thing. I think the amount used to be large or small, depending on where you worked. My first job in high school in 1979, the Christmas bonus was based on how long you had been working there. I got $2. lol
