Deep Rising (1998) stole from this Film

You could all say that it ripped off of "The Thing" (1982) yet also in 1998 when Deep Rising came out it did the same thing with it's Monsters, and even killed off the Black Men in the Film as well.

Was it a coincidence that the same score composer - Jerry Goldsmith - was hired for deep rising?

except Deep Rising is actually an entertaining and decent film. Leviathan is just a mess...

No it didn’t.

Nothing about this film and Deep Rising have anything in common except they have monsters.

The monster in DP is a giant version of a sea creature that actually exists. It wasn’t genetically altered.
