Winona Ryder's beauty

Though this is such an old film and may not ever be read, I have to say, after rewatching it a few days ago, that Winona Ryder, who has always been beautiful to me, was never more so than in this movie. Granted, she was only seventeen when this was made, but she looks older, at least to my eyes.

I did wonder, though, if there was something about her bare legs the director wanted to cover up. She's always show wearing colored stockings, and even the IMDB trivia section states that a body double was used in her one scene allegedly showing her bare legs.
