AMC butchering Jason and Julius' boxing scene

With all the gore in The Walking Dead, why is AMC still cutting up the scene where Julius gets his head knocked off by Jason? It's not even that graphic of a scene. Doesn't make sense to me.

Unfortunately they're just given the TV-cut that was made long before AMC was a network showing Negan-style murders, they're not going to make a new cut.

Why they just can't air a theatrical cut.. I don't know.. I'm sure it's got something to do with rights.

but yeah this is awful. it's already a rather goreless Friday.

AMC always does a great job censoring the movies they show to cut off some run time, which allows us to see more commercials. This way we all learn about the exciting new products and services in our neighborhoods

Why not just buy this movie on DVD and watch it that way? I don't get people who even watch a movie on TV and complain about them doing what they've always done. Just buy your movies on DVD or buy them digitally from amazon. Seriously, never watch movies on TV. They censor everything.
