As far as long-term love interest goes, I think most people would say Batman's 'Lois' is Selina.

But I think what this is saying is that the invention of the character Vicki was indeed a one to one direct response to Lois Lane. Obviously didn't have the same staying power, but it was there nonetheless
And what a great power couple Selina and Bruce make too. Completely out of the ordinary.
