Batman was the PERFECT movie to end the 80's!

Remember the 80's were all about cheese and Batman delivers it in bulk; The stock Hollywood sound effects, the paintbrush marks on the model Batwing, the not so easy to see night scenes, the perfect purple prince tie-in, the sheer campiness and silliness to it all made for a fitting end to a great movies decade.
Note how much different movies were just in the early 90's; Terminator 2, Ghost, Jurassic Park, Silence of the Lambs, Total Recall, The Fugitive, etc.
