I don't blame Sideshow Bob for trying to frame Krusty

I've been watching the Simpsons for the first time, and I'm almost done with Season 9. I don't know where I'm going to stop, but I'm not watching all Seasons because it would take forever to get through. And the show is well past its prime at that point.

But back on topic, I don't blame Sideshow Bob for trying to frame Krusty and get him locked up (back in Season 1).

Sideshow Bob might have been wrong for trying to frame him, but Krusty isn't a saint. Far from it. In fact, he's kind of a piece of shit who abuses his performers or whatever. At some point, Bob was fed up and realized that clown had to go. Krusty deserved it.

Also, my favorite season for far has been Season 7 (season 6 isn't far behind). Just fantastic all around, and Season 7 has my favorite episode in the series. The episode where Abe Simpson and Mr. Burns duke it out.

I would stop at around season 10 because it really gets terrible by about season 13 or so. To be honest for me classic Simpsons was seasons 1 through 9. I'm pretty sure everyone from the original show isn't even there anymore by now. It may be the same actors, but the writing is definitely different than the show was originally.

This is the same for me as well. I have to include 9 because it features one of my all-time favourite episodes, "The City of New York vs Homer Simpson", which is hilarious! Yes, it has been banned because of 9/11, but the episode was made before the attacks, and in a way, it honours the WTC in a humorous way, so it should be remembered.

that episode also predictable 911 too which is super spooky, Simpsons predict d a lot of things including Donald Trump presidency

I second season 10 being a relatively safe cutoff for quality of episodes vs time spent watching

I think the best seasons are from Seasons 2-8, Season 1 was good but I feel the series hasn't found its niche yet, Seasons 9-10 were good but you can feel the quality starting to slip by then.
