Watched "The Color of Truth" and realized
This is why so many from the BLM crowd will not get my support.
If you were black in the fifties in Alabama and couldn't sit with white folks and had crosses burned in your yard yeah no shit that's bad and no one today who isn't a full blown racist would support that
But today the way things were is being used to inflict grievance on those who had nothing to do with that.
Fuck sake we all want to live in relative peace and security. We all want the same equal treatment when it comes to jobs, loans, etc
There is no slavery today. Blacks, whites, brown, yellow, red all of us as people have the same ability to make our lives what we want regardless of where we start it's personal choice and personal responsibility that play the biggest factor in determining our outcomes.
Identity politics today isn't about equality it's about supremacy over another.
