My issue with the show

I used to watch re-runs of Life Goes On in the early 2000's and my main gripe with the show is how the show almost entirely went away from the focus on the ''Corkster'' and turned itself into an AIDS drama around his older sister and her terminally ill boyfriend How absolutely boring. This was supposed to be a show set around an intellectually disabled boy. Ridiculous.
