criminals you've wish didn't get arrested?

The one criminal I wish that didn't get arrested was the episode from Chattanooga (Season 18) where a passenger also gets arrested just for having a marijuana joint after he rode in a stolen truck that broke down after a high speed chase.

That episode where that lady on a bike got arrested after running a stop sign. She had a whole lot of meth on her. I agreed with the cop when he said she looked a really nice lady before she started using (they showed her drivers license picture from five years ago)

Another one was where a couple was parked in a suspicious location and there was a ton of meth found in the car. The policeman said he knew the drugs were most likely her boyfriends but he let her take all the blame for it and she had to go because it was her car. She was going to spend a long time in prison because he wouldn't admit it.

I remember the first episode and felt really sad for her when she broke down and cried, I agree she looked like a nice lady before she started using meth, I sometimes wonder how much time in prison she ended up getting.

On the second episode you've mentioned, that isn't the episode from San Diego, California 1989 isn't it? I'm not sure if I've seen this particular episode you've mentioned but remember an episode that was fairly similar to it.

reply

Nah, the second one was from Fontana around 2007-2008 (jesus time is flying by). One of the few episodes with Officer Chris Wesserman. But I do recall the episode you are talking about with a very similar situation where the guy let his girlfriend take the fall.

The drug dealers. Don't want to get political on IMDB, but all drugs should be legal and these are just poor people trying to eat.

reply

And the addicts. If youre abusing hard drugs then you have some serious issues in your life to begin with. Then you become addicted to your drug of choice giving you a second set of problems. Then you get arrested for mere possesion of drugs or a similar harmless offence involving drugs leaving you with a THIRD set of problems, thanks to the legal system. Thats not right, the last thing a non violent addict needs is to be locked up or hafta go through the terrible court system that we have all because they were self medicating.

reply

Too late...you DID get political. There are legal ways to eat, so don't feel bad for drug dealers who chose an illegal way to eat.

Another episode where I wish a guy didn't get arrested was the 2006 Atlanta episode where a trucker purchased crack cocaine from a small time dealer and the officer witnessed the hand to hand transaction, the trucker claims he's only tried crack 2 times and that him getting arrested for crack is gonna kill his career, the crack dealer pleads with the officer not to take his money and that it's all the money he had in the world.

You don't suppose it's possible he was lying?

A homeless man got arrested for stealing coins from a pond - he was caught by one cop who made him throw them back and as soon as that cop drove off he heard another stop - a different cop stopped the same guy so he turned back and they arrested the guy and I'm like its just a handful of coins that people threw away - come on, that's just hopeless desperation.

Just not a sh!t giver, I guess 

I also remember that episode and I've felt really sorry for him and find it to be a really difficult episode to watch, it's not like he was stealing from others or burglarizing homes, what was worse is the homeless man appeared to be a decent guy who just wanted to have something to eat for the day, I also didn't like how smug and superior the officers acted towards him.

The one where the older woman was sick of the people dealing drugs on her street. Or in her neighborhood. So she went and bought some crack from the dealers, in order to call the Cops and have them arrested. Unfortunately she was arrested for being in possession of crack.(I bet if that camera wasn't rolling she wouldn't have been arrested and the Cops would have trashed the crack. And setup a sting operation)

Next up is the Hispanic prostitute in Vegas that was, I guess walking into traffic or waving people down. (something like that) But unfortunately she lied when it came to I.D. Out of all of the years that I have watched this show, she was one of the best looking prostitutes. I feel sorry for her, because she didn't get caught for anything other than lying about who she was.

Another episode I wish where someone didn't get arrested for picking up a prostitute which was a transvestite, I thought since the suspect was being cooperative I would have liked to see him get off with a ticket, the suspect also had a small amount of marijuana in his possession but a small amount of marijuana in the state of California isn't an arrestable offense.

An oldie: the widowed father whom John Bunnell arrested for heroin possession in front of his little kids.?

A couple of episodes come to my mind here. One has already been mentioned,..the guy taking money from the pond, fountain, whatever it was. The other, a gorgeous blonde, who the officer discovered was lying about her identification, and I forget what else.

I will make you famous.

just saw the one with three college kids buying a bag of pot, one of them took the fall for all of them, told the cop where the pot was admitted everything without being pressured, seemed like a good egg. could've given him a break

reply

I do hope he got off with a light sentence for his cooperation, I feel people who cooperate deserve a lighter sentence than those who don't.

reply

I've totally felt bad for the guy taking money from the pond fountain, I've thought the officers were acting all smug and superior towards the suspect which I didn't like seeing.

One other episode I wish a person didn't get arrested was the one where a guy got arrested for having a pill in his vehicle, this episode is from Lafayette, Louisiana (Season 24), the whole time the police were questioning him they did seem to be picking on him a little bit and trying to get the suspect to confess that he has something illegal, the suspect initially claims that all what he had was Redbull

BUMP

I also wish that those who have a little bit of marijuana wouldn't have gotten arrested and taken to jail, I personally don't think people should be arrested just for a little bit of marijuana.

reply

I also wish this one criminal in his 30's didn't get arrested for having a crack stem, plus the officer had to call his parents to come get him, unfortunately his parents don't want anything to do with their son because he won't get himself clean and is tired of his antics, plus even his own children don't want to see him, that made me feel sorry for him.
