Did you think it was better than most film scores and did you think it was very fitting with the themes, script, acting and cinematography?

Before I saw this film, I underestimated Peter Gabriel

I still don't like that much most of his work, but "Passion" and "Birdy" are simply amazing.

Absolutely. I would go so far as to say that it makes the film.

Totes agree. It gives the film such a hallucinatory and hypnotic quality. One of the all time great film scores.

The soundtrack was certainly better than the movie, that's for sure.

Limit of the Willing Suspension of Disbelief: directly proportional to its awesomeness.

A great soundtrack. As someone else said, Gabriel's work on this and BIRDY put him among the top ranks of soundtrack composers.

The album score, Passion by Peter Gabriel, is still one of my favourites, the titles all flow chronologically through the various parts of Jesus' ministry.
