The Original Beetlejuice Sequel:

Not many people know this, but originally there was going to be a sequel for Beetlejuice that was supposed to be made and air in the mid 1990's, I know this because Beetlejuice came out in 1988, so the 80's were almost over and the 90's were about to happen, and anyway it was supposed to be called "Beetlejuice Goes Hawaiian," and it was supposedly about Beetlejuice and The Deetzes going to Hawaii while leaving Barbara and Adam alone in the house to stew or get into some hijinks of their own or something, unfortunately, it was scrapped, on the grounds it was too choppy, they couldn't edit it right---it was already to difficult the thing was dropped. Meanwhile, part of me wonders what it would have been like, mainly because Glenn Shadix was still alive and could be in it, [he died 2010, he was alive in the 90's] but also, because it would have allowed more screen time for Beetlejuice, we would have gotten more Beetlejuice [Michael Keaton] and less Adam Maitland [Alec Baldwin] that's a good thing because, well, did it seem to anybody else like Alec Baldwin was purposefully photo-bombing every scene he was in?

I can't put my finger on it, but every single time he was on screen if just felt like he wanted more close ups of him and only him, even if we were supposed to be paying more attention to the background behind him, he would focus attention for himself into facial movements and twitches to walking right over, up front in front of the camera---just ridiculous---and he only did it with that movie, he never did it before or since----at least to my knowledge.

Well, what do you all think?

He would have stood wherever the director told him, and the camera would have been placed wherever Burton desired. Blame Burton not Baldwin.

It probably would have been terrible. Sounds really bad.
