If somehow reality producers got that deal with the government, would you watch something like this?
I think it would be the biggest show on tv.
ONLY IF THE BUTCHER OF BAKERSFIELD IS INVOLVED.

Of course, who wouldn't like to see some scum bags getting their heads chopped off.
I'd also play the board game at home, not sure how that would work tho.

Maybe the family of the victims get to decide if he goes on knowing 99% chance his gonna get killed and if he wins he halves his sentence and doesn't get to sit on a beach.
Well that would be unfair.
They are risking their life. For a reduction only?
I would just rule out anybody on death row.
That sounds obvious.
But it is difficult to think that surviving this ordeal would compensate for a life sentence.
On the other hand, it is also unfair how many inmates fit right in jail life, while we pay for their free stay. This game would at least help clearing jails.
To be fair, these contestants were deliberately portrayed in a horrendous light to avoid gaining sympathy from the audience. In other words. We could be cheering for a "runner" to get his head chopped off. But for all we know that contestant was an innocent man who was framed.
