Is it ok for men to like this movie?

A friend recommended this movie to me. I'm considering buying the DVD, but just want to make sure, is this a movie that is ok for men to like? Or is it more of a girl's movie? (I'm a man btw)

I'm a 44-year-old man, and I love this movie. I'm going to go home and watch it tonight, as a matter of fact. It will be the first time I've seen it in probably ten years, and I have no doubt that I will enjoy it just as much as I did the first time I saw it.

F-ck no. I`m a man and the only thing I ever watch is military parades.

I cannot fathom that anyone would not absolutely love _The_Princess_Bride_, Jarvio. It ranks an 8.1 on imdb. I'm a girl, but men vote, too.

My male-bestie & I cannot get together without quoting this film. See why:

My favorite:
Buttercup: We'll never survive.
Westley: Nonsense. You're only saying that because no one ever has.

But why buy a scratch-able DVD that you're likely to loan out and lose? Go for the amazon.com digital purchase. I'm a geek. I know what I'm talking about. I don't work for amazon. ;)

If you were a man you wouldn't need someone else's approval to decide whether or not it was okay for you to like a movie.

I'm a man, I own a copy of this movie, have seen it dozens of times, and I do not give a rat's a$$ what anyone else thinks about that.

This movie has elements for everyone. It's a great movie to watch with your GF.

I was hesitant to watch this movie for a couple of years because of the title. I mean who (besides pre-teen girls) wants to watch something called 'The Princess Bride'?

It sounds like either a Bravo reality series about Euro-trash royalty getting married, or one of those God-awful Disney-ish movies.

It's a great movie that appeals to men, women and young 'uns alike. Something for everyone.
