Had Dutch just fled the scene, what then?

Not that this was ever in Dutch's thinking but once he worked out how not to be seen by the Predator, what would've happened had he fled and escaped in the chopper? Is the Predator left looking aimlessly around the jungle for a while to see where Dutch is, before calling it a day? Does he move on to another location or fly back home?
