Should this movie have been backwards?

So that it’s kind of like Memento in the sense that we see things from Joanna’s perspective and we only know what she knows? I think that would have been an interesting approach as we would start with Joanna being the wife/mother of a loving family but then as we go backwards we find out that things weren’t always like that until we discover the big twist at the end: Joanna (Annie) isn’t married to Dean, Dean kidnapped her when she had amnesia because she was a bitch to him when he did a carpentry job for him.

I think it works better as a comedy...

It still could have been a comedy.

Leave it to MovieChatUser497 to rewrite a movie based on something he saw in a Christopher Nolan picture.

Please either contribute to my thread in a productive manner or kindly fuck off.

Thank you for your attention in this matter.

That's intriguing... that would turn it into some sort of suspense film.

reply

Exactly and no one would ever suspect the twist.

NO...NOLAN'S SHTICK BARELY WORKS IN HIS OWN FILMS...LET ALONE COMEDY CLASSICS.

OK
