Watched this for the very first time this evening.

I was expecting this film to be more in line with The Goonies, I was surprised how gory and intense this film was considering this film was only PG-13, nonetheless I enjoyed this movie a lot and am glad I've gotten around to watching The Monster Squad.

I'm watching it now. It's one of My favorite movies.

After watching the universal horror movies, I appreciate how it refers to house of Dracula, House of Frankenstein, and Abbot and Costello meet Frankenstein.
