I like Malone;

once when I spotted Cliff Robertson,i shouted:"Malone"

...he smiled broadly...

It is a flic which has some nice layers:the characters are enjoyable w\Robertson's being a little more complex.

Reynolds looks battle-hardened and ready to ROLL and the scenery is breathtaking !

funny you yelled Malone. when some of my friends in the late 90s all realized we all individually knew about this awesome vhs cover with Malone on it, sitting in the local video store, we sort of became a Malone gang and would often drive around and shout Malone out the window to unsuspecting pedestrians, it was called Maloning.

Thought this was pretty good. There was a chilling believability to Robertson's villain, not exaggerated or comic book. Nice example of its type.

Think I'll watch this tonight.
