Advice to these women -or men

If you have a stalker like Alex, simply pretend to be into her or him! Take it to the hilt and bring them to meet your friends and family, propose marraige and try for a baby right away, move in w them, post on fb about how wonderful they etc. They will lose invest QUICK. What they are in love w is the IDEA of you. These people lack relationship skills and would very quickly feel dissapointed and repulsed by the very fact that you would like them. They have horrible self esteem so if you like them there MUST be something wrong w you. When you are not chosing them you are an illusive prize to be had. Nobody like that wants somebody for the every day mundane relationship. Just the thrill and proving they can 'win'.

That's a big gamble: pretend to be into him/her.

Alex was an obsessed stalker and an attention seeking type of woman. Not to mention that she probably had some mental problems. So no way I'd play the card "pretend to like her", because I'm sure she wouldn't back out.

She clearly had this dream of being with him, living with him, have a family with him. Remember the scene when she looks into the Gallagher's living room through the window and sees them having some quality family time together? Don't you think that she wanted to be the part of it? I think that she didn't want to be the onlooker but wanted to be the one living those happily moments.
Dan could offer her that kind of life and she do everything she could to have it! I don't think that it was just a matter of "winning", she clearly wanted to possess him and have him for herself.

That's not true because a lot of people stalk and kill their significant other when they leave or try to leave.

I woke up this way...

All of the women I had relationships with, prior to my wife, lost interest in inverse proportion to how much I gained interest, until they dumped me. This would probably be a good strategy for getting rid of most women.

I’m not sure about your advice but your insight into attraction, repulsion and people’s motivations is very astute.
