Are you kidding me?! With TODAY'S AI and VR and AR?? A reboot would be much more relevant and engaging than ever--PROVIDED that it had a good cast (who are today's Frewer and Pays? No one jumps to mind), and writing that's clever and not lazy, so the series could not be on the CW, Fox, FreeForm, or any other broadcast network.
Keep in mind: Max started out as a Coca-Cola commercial. That the character grew into an actual fucking network TV series is a testament to the basic virility of the original idea.
