Mav is shit for Goose

Other than accidentally killing him, Mav kept acting like a fool with zero regard of his RIO priorities and wellbeing.
They continually get scolded for Mav's stunts, and Goose seems reluctant most of the time, saying stuff like that's a bad idea Mav, dont do it.

I understand Goose had the benefit of flying with one of the best, and possibly winning the trophy, but the risk involved with Mav always seems too much for such a nice and quiet family man.
Goose would have been better off with a more traditional pilot that shared his agenda of getting better at his job, instead of Mav's father complex and other dangerous insecurities.

Maverick wouldnt even get past the psychological eval. He's a sociopathic malignant narcissist.

reply

Would that come out at the evaluation?

reply

Probably the questionnaire (MMPI2 or something)
