The humor in Poltergeist II

Loved the conversations Taylor had with Steven about the car being not happy and stuff.

That and some of the facial expressions Taylor had on his face when he was with Steven in that sweat pit or whatever for training Steven to use smoke magic

I loved the scene where Tangina knocks on the door. Diane, knowing Kane (aka the Beast) is likely nearby (he had already "paid a visit" in his human form, demanding to be let in, and screaming "YOU ARE GONNA DIE!!"), so she's naturally terrified of answering the door. When looking out the tiny window high on the door, she sees nobody. The knocking continues, and as she very hesitatingly opens the door, Tangina says "Hi!", startling, then relieving Diane.

It's funny because the only reason Diane saw nobody when she peeked outside is because Tangina was simply too short to be seen from the window/peekhole, and the scene was frightening and suspenseful, making the viewer think the visitor must be Kane, only to find out it was little Tangina all along!

yeah I love that little bit where Diane peeks through the peephole and sees nothing and she somehow forgets that Tangina is a short little lady lol.

Everytime I watch the movie, Taylor cracks me up though. Especially Steven's skeptism towards Taylor.

But the tequila stomach thing still creeps me out. I swear AMC showed a gorier scene of it coming out of Steven's mouth or something.

How about the scene when Steven was drunk and said to Diane:

Diane are you accusing me of being drunk?

Diane: I am not accusing you of anything!

Steven, but i know you that's what your thinking! LOL!

reply

You realize that wasn't really Steven, right?

reply

Yeah but it was still a funny part in the movie. 

Most of the humor comes from Nelson, he's pretty damn funny in this one.
