College and high school courts are not the same size:

Hard to imagine that huge arena court would be high school size.
The two things that Coach Dale has the players measure are the height of the rim (10 feet) and the distance from the free throw line to the rim (15 feet). These dimensions would be the same at any level of basketball from high school on up.
It’s also possible that the arena would have put down a high school dimension court for the state championship.
Yeah, that would seem to be a good idea for a high school state championship, good point.
