In this film, does the errr female character...

... err r**e or s*xuall* as*au*t the male character whom she kidnaps, or are all sex scenes, even under the circumstances, in both a legal, MORAL and DICTIONARY definition sense, errr, "consensual", even if other aspects not related to sexuality, like her kidnapping him and threatening to kill him, are not?

Also, regardless of the above aspect, as sensitive and serious a social issue as it is but anyways...

Does what her character do to him in this movie in any way "justified" or should she have either reported him to the police or just left him alone?

And who, technically speaking, is the "hero" or the "villain" in this movie or even just a "victim" and a "perpetrator", anyone who has seen "The Devil's Honey" (1986) know or think they know, thanks.

And was anyone in the audience, at the time or otherwise, "complaining" that the man doesn't say "report her to the police for it" or has the movie and its plot been constructed in such a way that, in the 80s or later, audiences doesn't get TOO bothered by it, regardless of, if it even was the case, whatever "double standards" it may or may NOT have even in THEORY?

Or maybe because he himself is a guilty criminal in this?

Well, technically no, as I was born in Russia but I did learn it as I went along.

Also, without spoiling it, but I have discovered, MINOR SPOILERS -

DESPITE all the wrong she does to him in this film, and possibly EARLIER he did to her (or even her RELATIVES), he actually not only FORGIVES her for it, he falls in love with her. My God, feel shocks and shudder all over your minds and bodies people.

Can I fall in love with a lady if SHE kidnaps me and does wrong things to me of certain including of that nature and if she also nearly kills me? (LOL. Some people think I MIGHT, haha. But OK OK let's not get TOO carried away here and not make light of any serious subject matter.)
