This was not good. The acting was poor and unconvincing. The writing was bad. The characters were poorly developed and the plot was a muddled mess. The film dragged on and felt longer than it was. There was some nice nude scenes though. And I thought the score was pretty good. My rating is a 4/10

I do agree with your assessment here about the lackluster of the Italian slasher. You would think with Ruggero Deodato directing great actors like Mimsy Farmer, David Hess, John Steiner and Ivan Rassimov, it would have been a home run.

It's way better than Scalps (1983).

You can say that again!! I mean Mimsey Farmer stabs David Hess in the head like ten times, Charles Napier is a cop and you get a synthy Claudio Simonetti score. So yeah, this film is leagues ahead of Mattei’s Scalps.
