Alien 3 or Alien Resurrection?

Resurrection, slightly.

Alien 3.. It did it's best to repair the damage done by Aliens.

I used to hate resurrection because it departed so much from the gritty, suspenseful spirit of the previous movies. Recently rewatatched it though and tried to take it on its own terms and its a somewhat entertaining, off the wall action movie.

Alien Resurrection was awful. Personally, I've grown to like the dark tone of Alien 3.

Even back in 1997, I laughed out loud when General Perez entered the scene along with the rest of the caricature of cartoons.

That was a horrible film.
