Why was Thorne so terrified of Scott's father?

But not at all scared of Scott?

reply

They had a rivalry for a girl and when it got them into a fight his dad wolfed out scaring him

reply

Right, but he didn't seem at all scared of Scott when he was the wolf.

reply

He probably didn't think of him as a threat. He was used to bullying his students, which Scott was, but not a real beast

reply

I bet dad won a fight when they were younger

When Scott first turned into the wolf in front of everybody, Thorne was visibly frightened; moreso than anybody else I would say. But considering Scott proved to be as harmless as ever, the A-hole Thorne didn't see him as a threat. Needles to say, Thorne held a life long grudge against Scott's dad and so he happily walked all over his old rival's son. However, Thorne knew he didn't have any power over Scott's dad, and so after their encounter many years ago when a pissed off beast was unleashed on Thorne, the big bad principal had every reason to be intimidated by Scott's dad - a werewolf that wasn't going to stand for no BS.
