ATROCIUS Movie

I had to STOP watching this movie. And I NEVER do that. It was SO bad. I made it 40 minutes in, trying not to give up hope, but I had a number of other Instant Netflix movies that expire by March 1st... had to switch. ALL of the acting was bad. Well, maybe not Jon Voight's entirely, but the scar tissue on his eye ended up being the final straw. That and the horrible acting back at 'central.' I at least enjoyed seeing Danny Trejo and Tiny Lister's film debuts, but that was all I could take away from this movie. Anyone who wonders why Eric Roberts career never went far has only to look at this movie. One of the main points the director wanted to get across was that black men can be easily distracted by white women. Seriously, those were such unnecessary parts to have in the movie. Didn't even get to Rebecca DeMornay's appearance. Just bad bad bad. Save yourself the trouble of hating Eric Roberts and just skip this one. HOW could they have made this a 2 hour movie?

This post should be nominated for "reaching for a reason to troll around" award.

The best parts of the movie are the parts you didn't even get to see. The best you can say is "most atrocius(sic) 40 minutes of film," as you didn't see the entire movie.

I watched this for Trejo, Lister, and Bunker, and they were great, the prison scenes were decent.
But it went downhill from there, I realized it was going to be a "stuck on train movie for the next 90mins :/
Roberts and Voight are pretty boys, there is no way they can pull off tough guys, well Roberts yes, but they made him an idiot here, also unbelievable, most actors are unfortunately tight casted.
Totally corny lines and acting, not enough character development to make us feel any emotion about that cheesy ending.

You've made it clear to us that you don't have a clue what makes a good movie. This movie was excellent. I just saw it for the very first time.

Also, if you don't watch every second of a movie, you don't have any right to criticize it or to review it in anyway.

And prison life is even worse...
