Do you think if you were in Rick's shoes you'd feel confused? What I mean is you've thought the chick you are now dating was a dude for months.

He was shocked and ticked off about the deception at first; and thus broke ties with Terry.

But the end sequence shows that he had reflected on the matter and now accepted that Terry was actually a (hot) female; and wisely decided to roll with it.
