The Greatest By the Numbers Script Ever Written

"Commando" kind of purified how movies in the 80s started to go ...at least at the B level(even with an A budget.)

Action hero. Muscle man. Kidnapped daughter(hey there, Taken!) "By the numbers" -- Arnold goes HERE, kills some people, goes HERE, kills some more people(or individual persons), Arnold then goes to some sort of Cuba banana republic dictatorship OFF THE COAST OF LOS ANGELES(?) kills hundreds of people. Kills boss man. Kills henchman. Kills everybody. Rescues daughter. The end.

I loved it. I saw it three times in a theater, just to relax. Good one liners, too: "Remember when I told you I'd kill you last? I lied."

PS. Like a new actress willing to do a nude scene, Arnold stripped down to a Speedo for a pre-climax show off. He can't do THAT anymore. Though he was naked in The Terminator the year before.

Next to Predator, probably his best film...

I believe the island was supposed to be in the neighborhood of where Gilligans Island was in the Pacific

Except for the main enemy. The actor that play Bennet was too soft. The last boss has to be the toughest.

Wrong!
In the 80 Bennet was deemed as hard as they get. He was deemed hard core. He created a new movement with his wardrobe , haircut , moustache, foreign accent. He was very toned and looked very powerful. Even in NYC people started to dress like him. Women wanted him, men wanted to be him.
