Do you wish you were back at highschool? Or glad that it is over?

I just watched The Breakfast Club, and it obviously reminded me a lot of highschool (with its "highschool hierarchy", bullies, teachers with no sense of humor etc.) which was in the 1990s for me. It gave me the feeling that I am glad that I don't have to go to highschool anymore.

Did you also get this feeling from watching The Breakfast Club? Or did you get the opposite feeling, that you would love to go back in time to the years of highschool?

I'm definitely glad it's over. For me it was 2002-2006. There were a few things I liked about it, but I couldn't fully enjoy those things because of how emotionally distraught I was at the time. I also went to a high school full of rich snobby kids who only befriended other people of the same nature. I'm now in grad school, and although it's much harder and more time consuming than high school was, I'm still enjoying my free time a lot more than I did because I'm much more confident and I have good friends who actually have my back and don't just care about themselves. I liked the rock music that came out of that period (White Stripes, System of a Down, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, etc), but I can still enjoy that.

I started high school the year this came out so it struck a chord with me in a big way. In fact John Hughes movies seemed to hit about the right time for me. I would go back, because it was the 80s and to maybe do it differently.

I miss the summers between the years of high school, I miss football games, but other than that no.

Relive it the way it was? No thanks.

Go back as the person I am today? Maybe.
But going back would mean I'd have to have all the bullies back again too, so maybe not.
High school, school itself in fact, was a literal living hell for me.
Senior year was the ONLY year I had even a little peace. Most of the bullies miraculously either transferred out or were not in my classes.
I loathed school.

Little did I know that, while there are no bullies there, that I would not really fit in at college either.
Oh well.

Only if I went back knowing what I know now, because it would definitely be a better experience. If not, then hell no, because high school blew. If I go to THEIR high school and be friends with the Breakfast Club, then yes. lol

Yup, but that is mostly because I am a kid at heart haha.

I'm glad high school is over. I don't get how people say they are the best years of your life, when they were the absolute worst. Bullying issues, teachers not giving a damn, everyone dropping like flies and so on.

If I could go back, I'd be more outspoken about things pissing me off instead of being so silent.
