All of the above I would rate 10/10. But really the only film I haven't completely loved from Scorsese is Hugo. And I definitely don't think that was a bad film, it was clearly brilliantly made. It's just the only one I actually found to be boring personally. I'd give very honorable mentions to Gangs of New York, Mean Streets, Shutter Island and The Aviator. Still haven't seen After Hours, Casino, or Bringing Out the Dead but all are definitely on my must-see list. Scorsese is my favorite filmmaker of all time regardless a little bit ahead of Tarantino and Kubrick. Such an incredible filmography!
Hallelujah. I was actually insulted by the mindless brutalization of the original (which I saw almost immediately afterwards - and totally by chance didn't know they were linked at all. "Jeez, that was exactly like The Departed, only WAY better. I wonder...") Scorsese's biggest fumble
