"Easter in Rotterdam"
I'm from Rotterdam myself, but I don't really get the reference. You'd expect an American to say Amsterdam or Holland instead. Why Rotterdam?🤷♀️

Since that place is more well known than Rotterdam (especially in the US), I don't think that's the case.
Well, we have to remember that the show was written for an American audience that mostly wouldn't know the difference.
So nobody was prepared to double-check which Dutch city would have been the more correct one to use in that joke...
I don't want to sound mean, but that just doesn't make sense.
The point isn't that one city is "more correct" than the other (neither really is, IMO), but like it or not, Amsterdam is MUCH MORE well known than Rotterdam. It already surprised me the writers had even heard of Rotterdam, it surprised me even more they expected the audience to know. I think only a very specific generation who experienced WW2 might've heard of Rotterdam, but in a rather unpleasant context.
