Season one: Pilot: Blanche: "Dorothy, can I borrow your mink stole?"
Season one: Break In: Blanche: "What would they want with it? Nobody wears mink stoles anymore."
Season two: The End of the Curse: Dorothy: "I always wanted a mink stole. I would look so sophisticated and elegant."
Season two: The End of the Curse: Blanche: "The minks stay." (we never see them again).

Just one of many inconsistencies.

DOROTHY'S SISTER GLORIA:
Season One: Custody Battle: Best of friends
Season Seven: Monkey Show: Mortal enemies.

ROSE:
Season one: Grief center closes. Gets a job as a waitress.
After episode: Never works as waitress. Still a counselor at the grief center.

MENOPAUSE:
Season two: The End of the Curse: Rose: "A couple of hot flashes and then it was over."
Season seven: Hey Look Me Over: Rose: "What do you think Blanche, am I through with my cycle?" BLANCHE: "Well, I'd say menopause is a good guess. You're about as puffy as the Pillsbury dough boy."

BLANCHE'S MIDDLE NAME:
Season six: Wham, Bam, Thank You Mammy: Blanche "Marie".
Season seven: Hey Look Me Over: Blanche "Elizabeth".

And it's STILL one of my all time favorite TV shows. I don't care about the inconsistencies. I just notice them.
