‘A woman who dresses like an Australian’s nightmare’
I always liked this line but never understood it. What is it about Jeanine’s wardrobe that would terrify an Australian..?

shareProbably because Australia, while it's people have many fine qualities, are not in the forefront of the fashion world like France or Italy.
If her wardrobe would offend a Australian, a place that is a fashion backwater... it is more insulting and a little more funny.
Is it because Australian attire would be functional and rural, and her wardrobe is flamboyant and ridiculous - the kind of thing an Australian might despise?
shareThat could be also.
Weird, I haven't seen this in awhile. I remember hearing the line as a "gypsy's nightmare".
Maybe I'm remembering it wrong or their are different versions.
