I’m surprised there has not yet been a Gremlins 3 or some sort of modern reboot or Netflix series with updated effects but maybe some of the original characters returning. Many films just as memorable from the 1980s (Ghostbusters, Karate Kid, etc.) have had new continuations so Gremlins should too.

Part 2, not so much. But the original grossed $212 million dollars on an $11 million budget. It was pretty huge back in the day.
shareI ask myself this every time i watch it last couple of years. Unlike many other movies/franchises, I honestly think it could do with a reboot. I'd like to see Gremlins with a good CGI.
