Who else hated Ariel?

I just hated her character! I don't know why her and Ren got together at the end (even though it was so predictable). Her stupid little comments and actions just ticked me off for some reason lol

Jason Stackhouse: Were you listenin' to me?... I got gout of the dick!

Yeah I never really liked her either. I actually thought the remake was very well done, one of the better remakes of classic 80s movies. It was impressive and I liked Hough's Ariel much better than Singer's Ariel... I dunno what it was... but maybe it's just that Hough was just a bit more likable than Singer was. Lori Singer is beautiful and she definitely played that part but even when she started to become who she really was instead of who she was pretending to be, I was like eh it's too late... where on the other than, with Julianne Hough, when she started to become who she was because Ren was challenging her on that (Both Rens were) I liked her even more... weird.

I hated her boyish body.

Welcome to the El Flamingo, Jeffrey!

A broken girl and hick from the sticks.

But underneath the tough exterior she's kind of sweet.

Not the most bangin' body, but her confident personality, poetic side, and physical charms make it easy to see how Ren and Chuck could be attracted to her.

THANK YOU! God she was annoying. Watched it for the first time today and she made me uncontrollably angry. Standing on train tracks and screaming? Attacking trucks with metal poles? Everything about her was annoying and petty, I don't understand how 2 guys were fighting over her!

reply

I did not like her but I did not hate her either, Ren was too good for her!

There are plenty of reasons to hate her actually.
