Started the decline of Stephen King adaptations

The decline of King filmatisations started with this movie (together with Firestarter). Up to this point films had been good to great: Carrie, Salem's Lot (tv cut), The Shining, Cujo, The Dead Zone, Christine, Creepshow (not exactly a King adaptation, but was written by King)...

Yeah, years and years later, but the damage to reputation of "King movies" had already done.

ps. I myself prefer Dolores Claiborne over the titles you mentioned.
