leia has the same patience anakin has, when he rushes to fight dukoo in ep 2, when she jumps on the speeder bike and

doesn't wait for luke.

do you think she'd be easily turned to the dark side ?

reply

Naw she's a female, which means you can't show them having an vulnerabilities, struggles, challenges or flaws.

one thing she couldn't do was swing on a rope by herself

Quite easily - she had more motivations than Luke.

Luke's primary aim was to become a Jedi, and so being turned to the Dark Side is literally the opposite of that. All the promises and taunts from Palpy and Vader didn't turn his head, he'd sooner die. Saving his father came next, he wanted to drag him back to the Light. He only flipped out when Vader threatened to try and turn Leia. And even then, notice he was bashing his blade against Vader's, not necessarily aiming for a killing blow. He stopped once Vader's hand was severed. For Luke, it was all about becoming a Jedi and keeping or bringing those close to him to the Light. Stopping the Empire was tangential to this, rather than his main goal.

Leia meanwhile wanted to get rid of the Empire and restore the Republic. That's not only a more tangible goal, but one which could be achieved by using the Dark Side. Just like how Anakin could have been manipulated by the promise of using Dark powers to save Padme, while Obi Wan didn't have anything he wanted to tempt him.

throughout all six movies it's made clear than when it comes to uses of the Force which are explicitly Dark, there is no turning back. Killing the Emperor wouldn't be as simple as shoving a lightsabre in his face or shooting a blaster; to be able to overpower him you'd either need to be a spectacular Jedi like Yoda or Mace Windu ... Or use Dark powers. Dark powers aren't a one-and-done thing, Leia literally wouldn't be able to walk away from his corpse and hang up her sabre. During a vote or something she wanted to go through, she'd use her powers to manipulate the voters. If she wanted something built and it wasn't going quick enough, she could use her powers to make it faster. Every time would be a "just this once", and before long she'd be a fully fledged Dark Side using tyrant.
