the game between khan and bond is so cool and intense at the same time, "oh luck? then i shall use your dice", and i just thought of it's the second time a villain crumbles the playing object in his hand, dices here and of course oddjob a golf ball in "goldfinger" (1964), as i'm rewatching these as they run for a week's marathon i seem to notice moore's british accent gets heavier by every movie. good thing john barry is back with his trademark bond score, bill conti didn't quite suit bond and was too much all over the place i found. what a step up role for maud adams (octopussy) after playing a complete victim in "the man with the golden gun" (andrea), think of that, a bond girl returning a decade later and evens the score, she was also an extra in "a view to a kill", the highlights of this movie is the encounters between her and bond, but it seems to me the bond movies became a bit more dragging and as regular action when john glen took over directing, the 1970s movies are more fun and bond like, his last was down right disturbing and they had to raise the age limit, by then bond had strayed a lot from connery and moore's days, nasty too how they got rid of the original moneypenny, she was a real likeable older lady and such a major part of the franchise. i think one of the guys in the circus tent plays the upset american guest in "fawlty towers".

youre like a night cap,
late hour mellowed me out flat,
in your soft gown house asleep,
filled my head with sweet dreams,
as sandman joined in,
and put me to sleep.
